Concert in the Park, Bangkok
Free entertainment courtesy of the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra with outdoor concerts on most Sundays from mid-December through to the end of February. Concerts are held at Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park, Bangkok.

Thailand Yacht Show, Phuket
The prestigious Phuket Yacht Show takes place at the Royal Phuket Marina. From dinghies to superyachts, yachts of all sizes will be on display.

Children’s Day (Wan Dek)
Held annually on the second Saturday of January, Children’s Day is a day when Thai youngsters can look forward to being treated by their parents with many visitor attractions offering free admission to children.

Bo Sang Umbrella and Sankhampaeng Handicrafts Festival, Chiang Mai
The twin villages of Bo Sang and Sankhampaeng in Chiang Mai province are famous for the production of traditional umbrellas and handicrafts. A low-key, but enjoyable festival celebrates the heritage of the area and is usually held on the third weekend in January.
