The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on Thailand’s tourism industry. As the world starts to emerge from a torrid few years, people working in the Thai tourist industry can start to look forward with optimism as Thailand opens up to international visitors. Easier entry requirements have been in place since 1 May 2022 and travellers who have had to postpone their trips can once again plan with confidence. And if you are planning to visit Thailand soon, you will still be spoilt for choice when it comes to accommodation. From budget guest-houses through to luxury hotels, there is something for every budget.
