Can you get an all-inclusive holiday to Thailand? You can, but there are some provisos. The concept of a completely all-inclusive resort of the type you might see in the Caribbean or Mexico isn’t the norm in Thailand. And there are good reasons for that. Food, drink and entertainment all represent outstanding value for money in Thailand. Indeed, one of the many joys of Thailand is to wander away from the comfort zone of your hotel, sit down at a local family owned restaurant and delve into the delights of Thai food.
All-inclusive resorts in Thailand
Although all-inclusive holidays and resorts aren’t common in Thailand, it is still possible to book them. Just be sure to check carefully what is and isn’t included. Free-flow drinks aren’t usual at Thai resorts, but you may have the option of sunset cocktails instead. The Thai version of all-inclusive may include breakfast, dinner, cocktails and a complimentary spa treatment. Wherever you decide to go, you can expect a warm welcome and wonderful Thai hospitality.

It’s also worth checking the hotel’s own website to see if they offer packages as an add-on when you book directly with them. For example, Avani+ in Khao Lak has the option of an all-inclusive package that includes things like airport transfers, free stay and free food for children, free-flow drinks from noon-10pm.
Amari hotels and OZO hotels also offer full-board options or special packages at some of their hotels.

Some of the hotels mentioned below will cater for families while there are also a selection of adult only resorts. This isn’t a complete list of all-inclusive Thailand resorts, but should give you some ideas for where to go and who to book with.
