Bangkok
808 Festival
The first 808 Festival in Thailand was held in 2013, and it has become a much-loved event for electronic music fans. The festival has been hosted at several different venues, but it’s usually held in Bangkok in December.

Creamfields Asia
The legendary dance music festival returns to Thailand in December 2025. The event was last held in Thailand in 2022 when it was hosted in Pattaya. In 2025, Creamfields Asia will be held indoors at the IMPACT Exhibition Centre in Bangkok.

Neon Countdown
An epic way to welcome in the New Year, Neon Countdown has been running for a decade and in 2025 will move to a new home at Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok. The EDM countdown festival features international artists playing sets against a backdrop of neon lights and fireworks.

SIAM Songkran Music Festival
The Songkran New Year Water Festival is always a special time to be in Thailand. For music lovers in Bangkok, welcoming the traditional Thai New Year at the SIAM Songkran Music Festival is extra special with extended sets from some of the best DJs on the planet. The event is held at the Bravo BKK arena in the Thai capital.

Summer Sonic
Japan’s biggest music festival debuted in 2024 and proved a big success again in August 2025 with the Black Eyed Peas and Alicia Keys among a raft of big names travelling to Thailand.

Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai Street Jazz Festival
Chiang Mai’s popular Street Jazz Festival is held in December. Although the main stage is at the Old Chiang Mai Cultural Centre, there are events around the city with jazz on the street at locations around the Old Town, plus bands playing at venues including Moment’s Notice Jazz Club, The Mellowship Jazz Club, Mahoree City of Music and North Gate Jazz Co-op. The city also holds a Jazz Week in April/May each year.

Chonburi/Pattaya
Pattaya International Jazz Festival
Pattaya Beach is the setting in December for the annual Pattaya International Jazz Festival. Featuring famous local and international artists, the event draws large crowds to the central Pattaya area.
PELUPO
PELUPO is proof that music festivals can play an active role in responsible tourism. The festival in Chonburi has been recognised with a Sustainable Tourism Acceleration Rating (STAR) for its responsible festival management, community support and cultural promotion. PELUPO has also been lauded for its eco-friendly initiatives, which include waste reduction, plastic-free policies, and carbon offsetting. In March 2025, PELUPO was staged at Treasure Hill Golf Club in Chonburi and attracted talented artists from around the world, including the multi-award-winning Corrine Bailey Rae.

Rolling Loud Thailand
Rolling Loud is the world’s premier hip-hop festival. Usually held in November, Rolling Loud Thailand features world-class artists performing at the Legend Siam in Pattaya.

Tomorrowland Thailand
What started as a small event in Belgium in 2005, Tomorrowland has grown to become one of the largest Electronic Dance Music festivals in the world. There is exciting news for EDM fans in Asia, with Tomorrowland to be staged for the first time in Thailand in December 2026. The Tomorrowland Festival in Chonburi will be the first edition of an event that is scheduled to be held annually for at least another 10 years in Thailand.

UnKonscious Festival
The annual UnKonscious Festival brings EDM and trance to Thailand with beach parties, boat parties, and a line-up of international DJs. In 2025, UnKonscious was held in Phuket but returns to Pattaya in January 2026.

Wonderfruit Festival
The Thai founders of Wonderfruit wanted to bring the festival experience to Thailand and launched their first event in 2014. More than a music festival, Wonderfruit has always focused on arts and awareness. Hosted annually at Siam Country Club near Pattaya, Wonderfruit features not only music, but also a farm, art installations, workshops and wellness activities.

Hua Hin
Hua Hin International Jazz Festival
The Hua Hin Jazz Festival was first held in 2001 and, since then, has experimented with different formats and venues. In May 2025, several venues across Hua Hin staged events, including Hua Hin Railway Station and beachfront locations. As part of the expanded format, concerts were also held at Phonkingphet Public Park near the old railway station and the stretch of Hua Hin Beach near the Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa.

Khao Yai
Big Mountain Music Festival
Spanning a variety of music genres and attracting an eclectic crowd, Big Mountain Music Festival is one of the best-established festivals in Thailand. The two-day event has been described as the biggest outdoor festival in Southeast Asia, with around 200 acts performing across nine stages. Music ranges from traditional Thai favourites like luk thung and molam through to rock, pop, and indie. Big Mountain is the English translation of Khao Yai, with the event held in Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima (aka Korat).

Pai Jazz & Blues Festival
The small town of Pai in Mae Hong Son province is the ideal location for this small but much-loved jazz and blues festival. Held annually during the green season in July, the Pai Jazz & Blues Festival is one of the best-established music festivals in Thailand.

Phuket
EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) Thailand
Phuket is the location for EDC Thailand in January 2026. The three-day EDM event features international DJs, multiple stages, and elaborate firework and light shows.
